In rural areas of Africa, there are high temperatures, sandstorms, humidity, and large voltage fluctuations. Some areas have salt spray and lightning hazards. Mechanical fastening and crimping must be used for the connection of ready board wires, and it is strictly prohibited to rely solely on winding and overlapping to ensure long-term stability and conductivity.

The phase line, neutral line, and ground line in the lighting ready board in rural Africa are uniformly connected using terminal crimping, and are divided into two standard processes. Thin diameter lighting wires (1.5-4mm ²) are paired with toothed spring terminal blocks. The wire stripping length is controlled at 5-7mm, and the copper core is fully inserted into the terminal without loose wires or missing strands. The fastening screws are evenly tightened to prevent false connections and overheating; The main line of 6mm ² and above is crimped with copper aluminum transition wire nose. Aluminum wires are often used in rural areas of Africa, and direct contact between copper and aluminum is prone to oxidation and erosion. Tin plated copper aluminum transition nose must be installed, and after hydraulic compaction, insulated sheath must be placed, and then fixed with flat pad and spring pad double washer bolts.

Do not only wrap wires for connection, as the infiltration of wind, sand, and water vapor can quickly oxidize, causing a surge in contact resistance and igniting the box; It is not allowed for wires to directly overlap the circuit breaker contacts. Multiple wires in the same circuit must be separated into independent terminals, and it is strictly prohibited to squeeze multiple wires in one hole.

The focus is on connecting the ground wire, and the PE yellow green dual color wire is separately connected to the grounding bar. The bolts are locked and anti loosening washers are added. The grounding contact surface is polished clean, and conductive paste is applied to isolate moisture and sand to prevent oxidation.

After the construction is completed, gently pull the wire without looseness, and there is no heating or discoloration at the connection point. It is suitable for harsh outdoor environments in rural Africa, reduces circuit breakers and fire faults, and stabilizes the lighting and power supply for farmers.
