The Influence And Optimization Of Lighting Electrical Ready Board Components In High Temperature Environments In African Rural Areas

When the ambient temperature exceeds 45 ℃ for a long time, the working efficiency of internal components in the electrical Ready Board Box will significantly decrease. High temperature will intensify the heating of components such as wires, circuit breakers, wiring terminals, and leakage protectors, causing an increase in conductor resistance and resulting in increased energy loss; Plastic shells and electronic components accelerate aging, reduce sensitivity, and are prone to false tripping and poor contact issues. In severe cases, overheating can trigger protective shutdowns, shortening the service life of equipment. In addition, the limited operation and maintenance conditions in rural Africa can further increase the incidence of failures.

This scenario can be optimized from multiple aspects. Firstly, high temperature resistant components should be selected, with priority given to circuit breakers and leakage protectors with a rated operating temperature of ≥ 60 ℃. The wires should be insulated with high temperature resistant cables to match the local high temperature conditions. Secondly, optimize the structure of the box, increase the ventilation openings of the box, install rain and dust proof louver vents to ensure air convection and heat dissipation.

Furthermore, plan the internal layout reasonably, reserve sufficient heat dissipation spacing between components, and avoid densely arranged heat accumulation; Reduce line current redundancy, appropriately increase cable diameter, and reduce self heating. Finally, when installing outdoors, add a sunshade to avoid areas exposed to direct sunlight at noon. Regularly clean the ventilation openings of dust and debris to ensure smooth heat dissipation channels, thereby stabilizing the efficiency of component operation and adapting to the high-temperature usage environment in rural Africa.
