Internal Wiring Duct Design Of Lighting Electrical Ready Board, Clean And Safe

Publish Time: Author: Site Editor Visit: 2

As the core device for circuit distribution and control, the design of the internal wiring slots of the lighting electrical ready board needs to balance cleanliness and safety, avoiding the risk of short circuits caused by disorderly lines and meeting the convenience requirements for maintenance and repair. The following analysis will be conducted from three dimensions: structural planning, material selection, and wiring specifications:

1、 Structural planning: Modular partitioning enhances maintainability

Clear functional zoning

The interior of the electrical ready board should be divided into a strong current area (main circuit), a weak current area (control circuit), and a backup area. Physical isolation should be achieved through metal partitions or insulation barriers to prevent strong current from interfering with weak current signals. For example, the main switch and branch circuit, as well as the neutral and ground wire bars, need to be arranged in different areas to avoid cross winding.

Optimization of trunking layout

Adopting a "main slot+branch slot" structure: the main slot is longitudinally laid along the back or side wall of the box, used to store the main line; The branch groove extends horizontally to each circuit breaker module, forming a "well" shaped grid. The recommended depth of the cable tray is 1.5-2 times the diameter of the wire, ensuring that the bending radius of the wire at the bend is not less than 6 times the outer diameter to avoid mechanical damage.

Reserve expansion space

The capacity of the cable tray needs to be reserved with a 20% -30% margin to meet the future demand for line capacity expansion.

2、 Material selection: Flame retardant insulation ensures safety

Cable trunking body

Priority should be given to using PC (polycarbonate) or PVC (polyvinyl chloride) materials, which must pass UL94 V-0 flame retardant certification to ensure that they will not self ignite in the event of high temperatures caused by short circuits.

Fixed accessories

Use stainless steel screws or nylon zip ties to secure the cable tray, avoiding direct contact between metal fittings and wires that may cause short circuits. Spring washers or anti loosening nuts should be used to prevent safety hazards caused by loose cable trays.

3、 Wiring Specification: Detail Processing to Reduce Risks

Color code management

Strictly distinguish between live wire (brown/red), neutral wire (blue), and ground wire (yellow green dual color), and paste labels at the wiring terminals for quick identification.

Excess control

The length of the wire should be 10% -15% longer than the actual requirement to avoid insulation damage caused by stretching. The bending point needs to be formed using a spring pipe bender to maintain uniform curvature and prevent local stress concentration.

earthing continuity

The trunking should be reliably connected to the metal casing of the electrical ready board through galvanized flat steel, and the grounding resistance value should be less than 0.1 Ω. For non-metallic trunking, grounding jumper wires should be installed every 500mm to ensure effective conduction of fault current.

Through modular partitioning, application of flame-retardant materials, and standardized wiring processes, it is possible to achieve a clean layout and safe protection of the internal circuits of the lighting electrical ready board.
