The waterproof and dustproof test of the lighting electrical ready board box shall be carried out in accordance with IEC 60529, divided into two items: dustproof (first digit) and waterproof (second digit), commonly IP54/IP55/IP65. 1、 Dustproof test (IP5X/IP6X), sample preparation: The box is fully assembled, the sealing strip, cable port, and door lock are in place, and the surface is undamaged. Test medium: Talc powder (≤ 75 μ m) or quartz sand. Test conditions (IP5X): Place in a sealed dust box, and evenly raise dust inside the box; Lasting for 8 hours; The negative pressure inside the box is ≤ 2kPa, and the pumping volume is about 80 times the volume. Judgment: There is no harmful dust accumulation inside, which does not affect insulation and power supply; The 1mm probe does not touch live parts. IP6X: Dust tight, no suction, no dust inside after 8 hours. 2、 Rain/Waterproof Test (IPX4/IPX5) IPX4 (Splash Water): Swing the pipe in rain, flow rate 10L/min, 180 ° swing, 10 minutes; Or the nozzle can splash water in all directions at a distance of 0.7m. IPX5 (spray): 6.3mm nozzle, distance 2.5-3m, 12.5L/min, omnidirectional spray for 3 minutes. Judgment: There are no visible water stains inside; Insulation resistance ≥ 1M Ω, normal power on. 3、 General requirement environment: 15-35 ℃, humidity ≤ 75%, effective equipment calibration. Order: Dustproof first, waterproof later; After visual inspection, insulation and functional testing, only those who pass the test can pass.
