Analysis on the causes of lightning strike on high and low voltage distribution boxes of distribution cabinet manufacturers

The reason for the failure of the high and low voltage distribution box is that these lightning waves enter the distribution box and can produce a voltage of up to one million volts, which has great destructive power. It can directly cause damage to the insulator of the protection equipment in the high and low voltage distribution box, seriously damage the insulator in the box, fail to protect the normal operation of the box, and then lead to the scrapping of the whole control system, There is leakage.

 

When the distribution box is running, it is inevitable to have faults. For some common faults, some improvements can be made to the distribution box. Next, Guoyao, the manufacturer of stainless steel distribution box, will show you:

 

    1. If a new column distribution stand is added, 2mm thick stainless steel plate can be selected when making the distribution box shell, and the size of the distribution box can be appropriately enlarged in proportion, so as to increase the electrical safety distance between each branch outlet and between the outlet and the box shell, which is conducive to the operation and maintenance of agricultural electricians and the replacement of melting parts, as well as heat dissipation.  

 

    2. Selection of residual current operated protector. Products conforming to gb6829 standard and certified by China Electrotechnical Product Certification Committee must be selected. Time delay protector with low sensitivity similar to LJM (J) series can be selected.  

 

    3. The protection circuit is adopted to prevent the failure of the external circuit powered by the distribution box. Select the intelligent phase loss protector with small volume. For example, da88cm-ii motor phase loss protection module can be selected and installed in the distribution box to prevent the motor from burning out due to low-voltage phase loss operation.  

 

    4. Selection of fuse. The rated current of the total overcurrent protection fuse at the low-voltage side of the distribution transformer shall be greater than the rated current at the low-voltage side of the distribution transformer, generally 1.5 times of the rated current. The rated current of the melt shall be determined according to the allowable overload multiple of the transformer and the characteristics of the fuse.  

 

    5. Improve the wiring mode of the low-voltage capacitor bank of the original distribution box, and change its installation position from the pile head on the AC contactor to between the low-voltage incoming line of the distribution box and the meter. Prevent inaccurate measurement of the metering device due to phase failure of the capacitor circuit or capacitor damage during operation.

 

  Because the working environment of the high and low voltage distribution box of the heating furnace is relatively bad, most of them are outdoors, and the lines have to withstand the test of cool, high temperature and severe cold, which also accelerates the aging of the lines. Especially on rainy days in summer, there will be a short circuit in the high and low voltage distribution box, which will burn the main components such as CPU module and analog t-input module, which is the fault of the circuit. All machinery should be maintained regularly after opening, installation and use, so as to ensure or even prolong the service life of the machinery to a certain extent. Of course, high-voltage and low-voltage distribution boxes are no exception, but the maintenance method of high-voltage and low-voltage distribution boxes is not simple. They should be professional.   1. Check that the grounding system is free of corrosion and fracture, and the connector is free of looseness and overheating.

 

  2、   Check whether the indication of each instrument is normal and consistent with the current operation mode.

 

  3. Turn the change-over switch to test whether the three-phase voltage is balanced.   

 

  4. Check whether all switch cabinet doors are closed firmly to avoid small animals.

 

  5. Check that there is no overheating at all connecting parts through the observation port, the porcelain insulation has no flashover discharge trace, and the surface is smooth and intact.
