Waterproof measures for lighting Ready Board Box in African rural rainstorm and rainy environment

Waterproof protection is required from the box structure, sealing, incoming and outgoing lines, accessories, and installation dimensions. The box body is preferably made of thickened weather resistant PC engineering plastic or stainless steel material, and is integrally injection molded as a whole. A double-layer rubber foam sealing ring is installed on the mating surface of the box cover and box body, and a sunken waterproof groove is designed at the edge to prevent rainwater from seeping into the gap. The protection level is not less than IP54, and it is upgraded to IP65 in rainy areas.

Install dust-proof and waterproof rubber plugs on the lighting ready board to prevent components from being soaked. Internally install insulation and waterproof barriers to separate the wiring area from the bottom water accumulation area. Use moisture-proof air switches and leak protectors for components, and place moisture-proof desiccants inside the box. The splicing screws of the box are made of stainless steel rust proof type, and neutral weather resistant sealant is applied to the gaps to prevent rainwater from seeping into the screw holes.

At the same time, it is equipped with an external lightning protection and waterproof module, with a fully sealed module shell and waterproof insulation sheath wrapped around the wiring terminals; Regularly overhaul and replace the aging seal ring and gland, clear the sediment blockage in the drain hole, maintain the waterproof performance of the box for a long time, and adapt to the continuous rainstorm and high humidity rural outdoor working conditions in Africa.
