The Punching Process Of The African Rural Lighting Ready Board Body Should Ensure The Accuracy Of The Hole Position, And The Hole Position Deviation Should Not Exceed How Many Millimeters?
Accuracy requirements for punching holes in rural lighting ready board bodies in Africa
The punching process for rural lighting Ready Board Box bodies in Africa must strictly ensure the accuracy of hole positions. The hole position deviation for assembly installation holes, DIN rail holes, and door lock hinge holes should not exceed ± 0.5mm, and the hole position deviation for ventilation and heat dissipation non assembly holes can be relaxed to ± 1.0mm. This indicator is suitable for the sheet metal processing technology requirements of SANS, IEC61439, and Eskom projects.
The accuracy of hole positions directly determines the quality of box assembly. Exceeding the tolerance of hole positions can cause misalignment of guide rails, components, and box door hinges, resulting in problems such as screws not being able to lock, box door closing offset, and uneven compression of door rubber strips, directly damaging the IP protection level of the box. African rural areas belong to high-temperature, high dust, and strong ultraviolet outdoor working conditions. After sealing failure, water vapor, sand, and dust will invade the box, accelerating the corrosion of internal copper parts, causing leakage and short circuit faults, and reducing the service life of equipment.
Priority is given to using CNC turret punching machines for punching in production. The equipment is calibrated before processing, and the first piece must be fully inspected for hole size. Batch production is sampled according to AQL standards. After punching, check the hole position for deformation and burrs, and control the burr height within 0.3mm. Simultaneously control the deformation of the sheet caused by bending, review the hole coordinates after the bending process is completed, and offset the position deviation caused by bending rebound.
Inspection can use calipers and image measuring instruments to detect the horizontal and vertical deviations of the hole center relative to the reference edge. If the assembly hole exceeds ± 0.5mm in any direction, it is judged as unqualified and needs to be reworked. Strictly controlling the punching accuracy is necessary to ensure stable installation and long-term reliable operation of the box in harsh rural environments in Africa.
