Maintenance Tips For Rural Lighting Electrical Ready Boards: Cost-effective And Worry Free Daily Maintenance
Rural lighting electrical ready boards are the core equipment that ensures the safety of household electricity use. Regular maintenance can extend their service life, reduce failure rates, and avoid safety hazards caused by line aging. Master the following cost saving and worry free maintenance techniques to make electricity usage more reassuring.
1、 Daily cleaning and dust prevention to reduce equipment wear and tear
The surface of the electrical ready board is prone to accumulate dust and spider webs, and long-term failure to clean may lead to poor heat dissipation or short circuits. It is recommended to wipe the surface of the box with a dry cloth every month, and clean the dust inside with a vacuum cleaner or soft bristled brush every quarter, especially paying attention to the cleanliness of key parts such as circuit breakers and wiring terminals. If insect or ant corpses or damp water stains are found, they should be immediately dried with a hair dryer at low temperature to prevent corrosion of the circuit.
2、 Regularly inspect the circuit to prevent aging hazards
The rural environment is humid, and the lines are prone to moisture and oxidation. Check the wiring inside the electrical ready board for looseness every six months, with a focus on checking for signs of heating and discoloration at the connections of the neutral, live, and ground wires. If the insulation tape is found to be aged and cracked, it should be replaced with waterproof insulation tape in a timely manner; If the exposed copper wire exceeds 2mm, it needs to be re crimped with cold pressed terminals to avoid the risk of short circuit.
3、 Test the protective device to ensure sensitivity and reliability
The leakage protector is the "safety guard" of the electrical ready board, and it needs to press the test button once a month to confirm that it can trip normally. If there is no response after pressing, it may be due to internal component damage and needs to be replaced immediately (cost about 20-50 yuan). At the same time, check once a year whether the rated current of the air switch matches the household electricity load to avoid overloading and causing fires.
4、 Moisture and insect prevention, extending equipment lifespan
Laying moisture-proof pads (such as plastic film) at the bottom of the electrical ready board or placing desiccant packs inside the box can effectively reduce humidity. If gaps are found in the box, they need to be sealed with glass glue to prevent mosquitoes from entering and building nests. In addition, avoid stacking debris near the electrical ready board and maintain good ventilation.
Reminder: Non professionals should not disassemble the internal components of the electrical ready board by themselves. If frequent tripping, odor or abnormal noise occurs, immediately contact the village electrician or professional maintenance personnel to avoid electric shock accidents caused by improper operation. Regular maintenance may require a small amount of time, but it can save a lot of repair costs and ensure the safety of electricity for the whole family.
