Sealing inspection of rural lighting electrical Ready Board Box in Africa, prioritizing appearance inspection → soap water leak detection → on-site spraying → simple dust-proof four step method, suitable for outdoor high temperature, high humidity, and dusty environments, to quickly locate leakage points.

Initial inspection of appearance and structure (quick inspection) - Box body: no deformation, cracks, or corrosion in door frames, joints, and inlet and outlet ports; The door lock/hinge is securely fastened and not loose.

Sealing strip: The rubber strip is intact, without aging/cracking/hardening, compressed evenly, and has no gaps; Door gap ≤ 0.5mm.

Blocking: Seal the spare inlet tightly with a sealing plug/adhesive; The cable mouth sealing joint is tightly pressed and there is no gap.

Internal: No water droplets, accumulated water, condensation, severe dust accumulation; The components are not damp or corroded.

Soap water leak detection (low pressure qualitative, key) 1 Block all entrances and exits, close the cabinet door and lock it tightly. two Inject 0.05-0.1MPa compressed air into the box (manual air pump can be used). three Dip the brush in concentrated soapy water and evenly coat the sealing areas such as door gaps, flanges, cable joints, and lock holes. four Observe for 3-5 minutes: the continuous bubbles are the leakage point; No bubbles are considered qualified.

On site spray test (simulated rainfall) conditions: IP54 protection, water pressure 50-100kPa, flow rate 10-15 L/min, nozzle distance 2-3m from the box.

Operation: Spray from multiple angles (0 °, 45 °, 90 °) for 5-10 minutes, focusing on spraying seams, door locks, and cable ports.

Judgment: If there is no water ingress or wet marks inside the box, it is considered qualified.

Simple dust prevention and power on verification, dust prevention: After sealing, leave it outdoors for 24 hours, and open the box for inspection without obvious dust accumulation.

Power on: Test the insulation resistance (≥ 1M Ω) before and after testing, with no leakage, tripping, or abnormal heating.

Leakage point handling and cycle handling: replace the rubber strip when it ages; Fill the gaps with waterproof sealant; Re tighten the joint or replace the seal.

Cycle: once before and once after the rainy season; Once a month during the sandstorm season; Encrypt inspection in high temperature and high humidity environments.
