Lighting electrical ready boards often face complex environments such as humidity, salt spray, and temperature differences, and traditional materials are prone to equipment failures due to corrosion. High strength galvanized steel sheet, with its excellent corrosion resistance and structural stability, has become the core material for extending the service life of electrical ready boards.

Corrosion resistance mechanism: multiple protection of zinc layer

Galvanized steel plates form a dense zinc layer on the surface through hot-dip or electroplating processes, and their corrosion resistance is due to three mechanisms: firstly, the zinc layer acts as a physical barrier to isolate air, moisture, and contact with the steel substrate; Secondly, zinc has higher chemical activity than iron and preferentially oxidizes in corrosive environments, forming dense products such as zinc oxide and zinc hydroxide, which cover the surface of steel plates and form a "self-healing" protective film; Thirdly, when the zinc layer is partially damaged, zinc and iron form the primary battery, and zinc continues to dissolve as the anode, sacrificing its own protection of the steel substrate, known as the "cathodic protection" effect. Experimental data shows that in industrial environments, steel plates with a zinc coating of 350g/m ² can have a lifespan 15-30 times that of ordinary steel plates. In outdoor roof scenarios, the annual loss is only 4 microns, and the theoretical lifespan of 0.7mm thick plates exceeds 80 years.

High strength and durability: reliable support for complex working conditions

Galvanized steel sheet is strengthened by cold rolling process, with significantly improved tensile strength, and can withstand mechanical impact and long-term vibration during installation. The zinc layer is metallurgically bonded to the steel substrate, and even after processing such as cutting and welding, the edge area can still maintain complete protection, avoiding the defects of traditional coatings that are prone to peeling off. In coastal areas with high salt spray or chemical pollution, the corrosion resistance advantage of galvanized steel plates is more prominent, which can reduce costs by 30% -50% compared to stainless steel, while avoiding the risk of insufficient strength of aluminum alloys.

Whole life cycle cost optimization

After adopting galvanized steel sheet electrical ready boards, the equipment maintenance cycle has been extended from 3 years to 10 years, the failure rate has decreased by 80%, and the comprehensive cost has been reduced by 45%. Its environmental characteristics also meet the requirements of sustainable development: the zinc layer can be 100% recycled, the waste generated by hot-dip galvanizing process is only 1/5 of that of paint coating, and the production process has no volatile organic compound emissions.

The high-strength galvanized steel plate lighting electrical ready board is redefining the reliability standards of outdoor electrical equipment with its core advantages of corrosion resistance, long service life, and low maintenance.
